If you use our website, we may collect location data obtained from your IP address. We may use this location data to better understand the geographical distribution of our customers and improve our marketing efforts.
If you use our websites, we may collect information about the browser you are using. We might track the pages you visit, look at what website you came from, or what website you visit when you leave us. We collect this information using the tracking tools described in the “Tracking Users' Behaviour” section. To control those tools, please read the Your Privacy Preferences section.
We collect information from you passively.

Contests, Questions, or Surveys.
When you ask a question, participate in a survey, or enter a contest or sweepstakes, we may collect your name, address, phone number, and email address. We may use this information to facilitate your participation in a contest or sweepstakes. At that time, we may ask your permission to send you future marketing information.
To enhance, personalize, and support your experience on the Site, among other things, we collect, use, and share your user information. For example, we may use the aggregated information to develop content targeted to user interests and to generally improve the Site's user experience. Vice City is your contractual partner and controller of your personal data in accordance with Art. 4 para. 7 General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and § 13 German Telemedia Act concerning the entering into and administering the contractual relationship with you. For information on data processing in relation to your responsible use of the functionalities of the Software as well as the Server Services as described in the EULA please refer to the information concerning the use of Vice City.
Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through Vice City' public message boards, this information may be collected and used by others.
When you sign up or engage with Vice City, Vice City uses your personal data for the administration and enhancement of the contract with you. The legal basis for processing your personal data is outlined under C. II. is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.
We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services available on the Site. These may include: (a) registering for an account on our Site; (b) entering a sweepstake or contest sponsored by us, or one of our partners; (c) signing up for special offers from selected third parties; (d) sending us an email message; We may use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services, products, or information you have requested from us. We also may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future.
Use of your Personal Information.
Vice City collects and uses your personal information to operate its website and app and deliver the services you have requested.
Vice City may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from Vice City and its affiliates.
Vice City is using information about the frequency of your use of Vice City web and app in order to monitor if the agreed license restrictions are observed, and in case we recognize that they are exceeded, we will contact you to suggest changing your license type. The legal basis for processing your personal data is outlined under C. III is Art. 6 para. 1 lit b) GDPR.
Vice City may use your information to protect our company, our customers, or our websites if we suspect fraud or other illegal activities or if there is an investigation relating to the same.
Vice Citymay use your information for our marketing. In certain circumstances, we may target you with digital ads, social ads, print ads, and other ads, and communications about special promotions, offers, or rewards. For example, if you have registered on a website and indicated you want to receive this information. We may also notify you of new website features or product and service offerings.
If you place an inquiry with Vice City by using the in-product feedback feature, Vice City needs to process your personal data in order to answer your request. The legal basis for processing your personal data is outlined under C. IV is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.
If you sign up for Vice City's promotional email subscription, Vice City processes your personal data in order to send you the newsletter. Legal basis to provide you with the newsletter is your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR, which you may revoke at any time with effect for the future. In case you have a paid subscription, we may use your email address to send you information on similar products and services. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit b) GDPR, sec. 7 para. 3 Unfair Competition Act ("UWG").
In the case you use Vice City to pay for specific services we may offer in the future, Vice City additionally collects information to support payment processing, which includes a payment token provided by our Payment Service Provider to identify the transaction. The legal basis for processing your personal data is outlined under C. IV is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.
Where it is necessary for compliance with a legal or regulatory obligation that we are subject to, we process your personal data according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e) GDPR.
When you contact our Call Center, you may be asked for information that identifies you, along with additional information we need to help us promptly answer your question or concerns. This may include your name, address, and phone number where we can reach you. We may keep this information to assist you in the future.
Registration on our website or app is an optional service. When you register, you are asked for personal information such as your name, physical address, phone number, email address, password, and, optionally, your interests. When you register, you will also have the opportunity to sign up for future marketing information from Vice City.
If you choose to register on our website or mobile app, you will be asked to create a username and password. In order to further protect your personal information, please do not share your password with anyone else. If you wish to cancel a password, or if you become aware of any loss, theft, or unauthorized use of your password, please contact us in the manner provided at the end of this document.
No “phishing” allowed.
We will never request your password, user name, credit card information, or other personal data through email. This practice, called "phishing," is a scam designed to steal your personal information. If you receive an email that looks like it is from Vice City requesting this type of personal information, please delete it.

Although you may have opted not to receive marketing communications, you may still get confirmations when registering for an event, event recall notices (that you registered for), or other order-related communications.

Sharing Information with Third Parties.
Vice City does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties.
Vice City may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Vice City, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
Vice City may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with the legal process served on Vice City, or the site and app; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Vice City; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Vice City, or the public.
Tracking User Behavior.
Vice City may keep track of the websites and pages our users visit within Vice City in order to determine what Vice City services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content and advertising within Vice City to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.
Vice City tracks page clicks, links, user session times, and viewed content/media.

For example, if you register with Vice City's site or services, a cookie helps Vice City to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. In order to process your access to our events, we may share information with partners and other third parties who require this information. Other situations are

Controlling Online Interest-Based Ads.

Children Under Thirteen.
Vice City does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website.
Disconnecting your Vice City Account from Third-Party Websites.
You may be able to connect your Vice City account to third-party accounts. BY CONNECTING YOUR Vice City ACCOUNT TO YOUR THIRD PARTY ACCOUNT, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOU ARE CONSENTING TO THE CONTINUOUS RELEASE OF INFORMATION ABOUT YOU TO OTHERS (IN ACCORDANCE WITH YOUR PRIVACY SETTINGS ON THOSE THIRD PARTY SITES). IF YOU DO NOT WANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOU, INCLUDING PERSONALLY IDENTIFYING INFORMATION, TO BE SHARED IN THIS MANNER, DO NOT USE THIS FEATURE. You may disconnect your account from a third-party account at any time. Users can easily delete third-party integrations by signing into their account and visiting the respective feature page.
From time to time, Vice City may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication. In order to improve our Services, we may receive a notification when you open an email from Vice City or click on a link therein.
If you would like to stop receiving marketing or promotional communications via email from Vice City, you may opt out of such communications. Users may log into their account and visit the account profile page if they'd like to remove their information from our promotions list.
External Data Storage Sites.
We may store your data on servers provided by third-party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted.
Changes to this Statement.
How Will I Know if the Privacy Statement Is Changed?
If we make any material changes we will notify you by email if legally required (sent to the e-mail address specified in your account) or by means of a notice on this website prior to the change becoming effective. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices.
It is impossible for Vice City to completely guarantee that user data will be immune from malicious attack or compromise; as such, users should understand that their transmission of personal data is at their own risk. However, in the event of data breaches or compromise, Vice City strives to follow the protocol taken below, which may differ under various circumstances:
It is Vice City' policy to be fair and proportionate when considering the actions to be taken to inform affected parties regarding breaches of personal data. In line with the GDPR, where a breach is known to have occurred, which is likely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of individuals, the relevant supervisory authority will be informed within 72 hours.
Under the GDPR, the relevant DPA has the authority to impose a range of fines of up to four percent of annual worldwide turnover or twenty million dollars, whichever is the higher, for infringements of the regulations.
Information We Collect: We may collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or device (“personal information”). In particular, we have collected the following categories of personal information from consumers within the last twelve (12) months:

health or medical information covered by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act (CMIA) or clinical trial data;
personal information covered by certain sector-specific privacy laws, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FRCA), the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) or California Financial Information Privacy Act (FIPA), and the Driver's Privacy Protection Act of 1994.
We obtain the categories of personal information listed above from the following categories of sources:
- Directly from our customers or their agents. For example, from documents that our customers provide to us related to the services for which they engage us.
- Indirectly from our customers or their agents. For example, through information we collect from our customers in the course of providing services to them.
- Directly and indirectly from activity on our main website link and related websites. For example, from submissions through our website portal or website usage details collected automatically.
- From third parties that interact with us in connection with the services we perform.
Use of Personal Information.

Sharing Personal Information.

When we disclose personal information for business purposes, we enter into a contract describing the purpose for sharing the data. This contract also requires the recipient party to keep the personal information confidential and not use it for any other purpose except as described by the contract.

Category B: California Customer Records personal information categories.
Category C: Protected classification characteristics under California or federal law.

Your Rights and Choices.
The CCPA provides consumers (California residents) with specific rights regarding their personal information. This section describes your rights under the CCPA and explains how to exercise those rights.
Access to Specific Information and Data Portability Rights
You have the right to request we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months. Once we receive and confirm your request, we will disclose to you:
- The categories of personal information we collected about you.
- The categories of sources for the personal information we collected about you.
- Our business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling that personal information.
- The categories of third parties with whom we share that personal information.
- The specific pieces of personal information we collected about you (also called a data portability request).
If we sold or disclosed your personal information for a business purpose, two separate lists disclosing:
sales, identifying the personal information categories that each category of recipient purchased; and
disclosures for a business purpose, identifying the personal information categories that each category of recipient obtained.
Deletion Request Rights
You have the right to request we delete any of your personal information we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and confirm your request, we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our (their) records, unless an exception applies.
We may deny your deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us or our service providers to:
- Complete the transaction for which we collected the personal information, provide a good or service that you requested, take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform our contract with you.
- Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, or prosecute those responsible for such activities.
- Debug products to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality.
- Exercise free speech, ensure the right of another consumer to exercise their free speech rights, or exercise another right provided for by law.
- Comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act (Cal. Penal Code § 1546 seq.).
- Engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest that adheres to all other applicable ethics and privacy laws, when the information's deletion may likely render impossible or seriously impair the research's achievement, if you previously provided informed consent.
- Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with consumer expectations based on your relationship with us.
- Comply with a legal obligation.
- Make other internal and lawful uses of that information that are compatible with the context in which you provided it.
By deleting your data we will no longer be able to send you promotional communications, offers, and coupons; you will no longer be able to sign onto our websites and mobile applications or your loyalty account and we will no longer be able to assign, maintain, and track accumulated points.
Exercising Access, Data Portability, and Deletion Rights

Only you, or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child.
You may only make a request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period. The request must:
- Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative
- Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us. We will only use personal information provided in a request to verify the requestor's identity and/or authority to make the request. We do however require you to provide us with an email address to interact with you on this matter.
Response Timing and Format
We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within 45 days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to 90 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. We will deliver our written response by mail or electronically, at your option. Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding the verifiable consumer request's receipt. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, we will select a format to provide your personal information that is readily useable and should allow you to transmit the information from one entity to another entity without hindrance.
We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. Unless permitted by the CCPA, we will not:
- Deny you goods or services.
- Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties.
- Provide you a different level or quality of goods or services.
- Suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.
